Q + A

What's the dress code?

We'd love to see our guests in formal attire. Feel free to dress to impress!

Where do I fly into?

The closest airports are Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The Ancient Spanish Monastery is about 16 miles from MIA and 13 miles from FLL, making either airport a convenient choice for your arrival.

What are the suggested travel dates?

We recommend planning your stay from Thursday, April 3, to Sunday, April 6, to fully enjoy the wedding weekend. The Bride and Groom will be relaxing Saturday post-wedding at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside beach, so if you stay, please feel free to join for a fun day in the sun!

Do I need to rent a car?

No, renting a car isn't necessary. Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are convenient, easy to use and affordable for getting around Miami.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the event from the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside. Departure for the venue is scheduled for 4:45 p.m., so please meet in the hotel lobby by 4:30 p.m. Return trips back to the hotel will start at 10 p.m. and continue running until midnight.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m., we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes earlier to find your seat and settle in. If you choose not to use the transportation we arrange, please plan to arrive by 5 p.m.

Where should I park?

There is parking available at The Ancient Spanish Monastery, but we recommend using a ride-share service.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the garden. The reception will be held inside the monastery.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus-one. If you're unsure, please reach out to us directly.

Are kids invited?

We adore your little ones, but this is an adults only event. We appreciate your understanding!
